Tasty Chinese is a Chinese takeaway, that's quite tasty. Located near Old Trafford, it makes it a delivery competitor to the (arguably) superior Gordon's Kitchen, but Tasty has a different catchment area, so still has a valid purpose in life. In fact it's a pretty close run battle as Tasty does deliver a very good meal, but its slightly more expensive than Gordon's and in my opinion, slightly less Tasty! However, that's only if you're going for the standard Chinese meals you can get anywhere. Where Gordon's doesn't do much in the way of experimental special options, Tasty has a range of more original Chinese and Cantonese dishes, and these are the highlight. I'm an air conditioning unit (huge fan) of fish, and Tasty do a gorgeous Salt & Pepper fish fillet for only £4.80. They all do an add-rice deal so you can add boiled rice or chip so your meal for 50p or fried rice or noodles for 90p. They also do a bigger range of Dim Sum style dumplings you'd expect at a take-away including pork, prawn and beef. Please note they only deliver between 5pm and 11.30pm, but what are you doing getting a Chinese take-away outside of these times really? Very good meals, decent prices. Deserves the four starts but for me Gordon's Kitchen marginally pips it.
